What will take place?

You will work with a group of up to 15 people to learn the basics in proper flagstone and dry stack wall installation. This is a 2 day event. Each day will start with breakfast and a meet and greet. This will allow us to get set up and review the days agenda. We will work from 9am-12pm and then break for a lunch that we will provide. We will resume work approximately at 12:45 and continue until 3pm on each day. Day 1 will be installation of approximately 100 sq ft of flagstone in a dry laid method. Day 2 will be the completion of a surrounding seat wall also using a dry stack method. These features are meant to be temporary training features that will be torn down, though certain vendors may opt to have their feature installed in a location that is more permanent.

  • We will be cutting material using water. If you intend to do any cutting it is suggested you bring along Muck boots, and if possible rain gear bottoms. We will have limited number of pairs on site.

  • This will require heavy lifting (50lbs) and repetitive motions associated with masonry and stone work.

  • You will not be asked to do anything you are not comfortable doing.
